Kathy Fox shared her expertise on ATC Communications & Safety tips on March 23rd!
She spoke about ATC communications for VFR general aviation pilots and also about the transportation safety board and the process of their investigations. Another great piece of information was how it easy it can be to end in IFR condition very quickly. It is important to have an added safety mindset when night flying; although it may be VMC conditions, you could loose visual reference to the ground if you are flying at night.
Kathy Fox was involved with and worked for the Transportation Safety Board of Canada at the time of 9/11. She speaks about her experiences and how ATC responded to the situation to get all airborne aircraft grounded.
